This is my first knitting pattern here and I think this is a good project to learn new easy stitches which keeps knitting this scarf exciting. hope you enjoy it!
The sampler infinity scarf consists of 5 different stitches, which are:
- basket weave
- stokinette
- mock cable
- easy laced
- star stitch (with a twist!)
Supplies needed:
- 6mm straight knitting needles
- 3 balls of 100 grams of yarn (preferably size 5mm-6mm
- yarn sewing needles
Cast on 30 Stitches
basket weave
Row 1(right ride): *k5 p5*
Row 2(wrong side):*p5 k5*
Continue pattern until end of row 5 then restart pattern again
Repeat patterns until the end of row 30
Stockinette
Row 1(right side): k29 p1
Row 2(wrong side): p29 k1
repeat pattern until the end of row30
mock cable
Row 1(right side): p1 *sl1 k2 with the left needle take the slipped stitch and drop it infront of the right needle p2* end with p1
Row 2 (wrong side): k1 *p1 yo p1 k2* end with k1
Row 3 (right side): p1 *k3 p2* end with p1
Row 4 (wrong side): k1 *p3 k2* end with k1
Repeat pattern 8x
30 rows of stockinette
Easy laced
Row 1 (right side): k to the end of the row
Row 2 (wrong side): p1 *yo p2tog* end with p1 Repeat pattern until the end of row 30
30 rows stockinette
Star stitch (with a twist!)
Row 1(right side): k to the end of the row
Row 2 (wrong side): p1 *p3tog (keep it on the needle) yo p1* end with p2
Row 3(right side): k to the end of the row
Row 4(wrong side): *p3 p3tog (keep it on the needle) yo p1*
Repeat pattern until the end of row 30
30 rows of stockinette then cast off
Use a yarn sewing needle to join the end!

p3tog - purl 3 together
k - knit
p - purl
yo - yarn over
p3tog - purl 3 together
